The Arizona State Board of Accountancy is established by A.R.S. § 32-702 and consists of seven board members who are residents of Arizona and who are appointed by the Governor for five-year terms. Five members are Certified Public Accountants and two are public members.

 Lisa B. Lumbard, CPA
 President
 Term expires July 3, 2024
Lisa B. Lumbard, CPA, CGFM has been in public accounting for over 35 years specializing in providing audit services to not-for-profit and governmental entities with 25 of those years as the founder and manager of Lumbard & Associates, PLLC. In working with not-for-profit managers and boards over the years she developed a passion for training not-for-profits on board governance. Prior to selling her practice, she became certified as a board governance trainer with BoardSource and continues to provide those services to not-for-profits through her consulting firm. Lisa began her long history of volunteering on not-for-profit boards and governmental advisory committees while in college at ASU. She still serves on the Arizona Society of CPA’s Annual Not-for-Profit Conference committee, MIHS Finance and Compliance advisory committee and served as vice-president on the board of a large local church where she previously served for 3 years as treasurer and 3 years as president and over 5 years on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy Accounting and Auditing Advisory Committee. In June of 2019 she received the Executive Leadership Certification from the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. Effective July 2019, she was appointed by the Governor to the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and looks forward to continuing her service in that new capacity. Lisa frequently speaks at conferences as well as providing customized trainings to not-for-profit organizations. She has presented seminars and trainings on single audits, internal controls, audit preparedness, not-for-profit accounting, and not-for-profit board governance for various professional associations throughout Arizona. In her spare time she enjoys working in her yard, self-improvement reading, singing in the choir and remodeling investment properties.
 
   
 Robert Edward Dubberly, CPA

Rob is an audit partner in KPMG’s Arizona Practice. He has more than 29 years of experience working within six different offices throughout the United States including a three-year technical rotation in the Firm’s National Office. In addition to serving as a lead audit partner, Rob is also a designated SEC Reviewing Partner and in that capacity, he serves as an engagement quality control review partner for a number of public companies. Rob has worked with companies in a variety of industries, including electronics, industrial manufacturing, consumer products and transportation. Outside of the office, Rob is board member with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley. Rob has been married to his beautiful wife Grace for 28 years and they have three boys – Robert, Hugh and Grant.
 
   
 Stephen J. Rodis, CPA

Steve is a tax Senior Advisor with Wallace Plese + Dreher and has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining his current firm, he worked at regional and national CPA firms. He provides tax planning and consulting to individuals and corporations in a variety of industries. Specializing in international tax, he helps U.S. businesses with structuring and global expansions. Recognizing each client’s goals and objectives are unique, he incorporates industry knowledge and tax reduction strategies into business planning.

Dedicated to educating his peers and supporting the next generation of accounting professionals, he is a frequent speaker at ASCPA’s Phoenix Tax Workshop and serves as Co-Chair and on the Advisory Committee. Prior to being appointed to the Board of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy, he served on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy’s Tax Advisory Committee.

Focused on developing and bringing business to Arizona, he serves on the Board, Phoenix Committee for Foreign Relations (PCFR), Arizona Advisory Committee, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), and Arizona District Export Council, U.S. Department of Commerce.

He holds an Arizona CPA license and earned his Bachelor of Science, Accountancy, from Arizona State University.

Beyond providing tax and consulting services, he and his wife Anne enjoy traveling, experimenting with new grilling recipes, and spending time with their three children, six grandchildren, and two Labradors. In his spare time Steve builds furniture.
 
   
 Michael A. Levin, Public Member
 Term expires July 3, 2024
Mike Levin is an Executive Vice President with the Levin Family Limited Partnership. Along with his father Alan and brother Matt, they own and operate the Port of Tucson, Southern Arizona’s inland port, providing both domestic and international rail operations. Additionally, they own and operate various other companies such as Century Park Properties, Tucson Frozen Storage, Tucson Port Authority, and Cushing Business Center. Mike’s primary role is President of Industrial Real Estate & Business Development for the Port and other Levin entities. This role oversees the management of over 2 million square feet of warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and rail served properties. In addition to lease and tenant management, he works closely with local economic development groups to help in highlighting Tucson as a hub for global trade and logistics with both Mexico and Asia. The Port of Tucson, with its ability to receive and ship intermodal containers internationally to multiple global locations, provides a key link for Arizona and Mexico to the world economy.
 
   
 Richard Brandon Eggleston, CPA
 Term expires July 1, 2027
Brandon is a partner at Ernst & Young, with more than 22 years of experience as a CPA. As an audit partner focused on the health industry, he has served a broad spectrum of clientele in the for-profit, not-for-profit and life sciences industries, including multi-hospital national systems, rural and community hospitals, health, casualty and captive insurance companies, emergency medical services companies, and biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies. He has extensive experience with health care accounting, mergers and acquisitions, tax-exempt bond financings, healthcare reimbursement, Uniform Guidance, and SEC financial and reporting matters and integrated audits.

Brandon serves as EYs representative on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a Board Member of the Arizona chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University.
 
   
 Gregory S. Dawson, PhD, Public Member
 Term expires July 1, 2028
Greg is Clinical Professor in the School of Accountancy at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He primarily teaches in the Masters of Accountancy and Data Analytics (MACC) / Masters of Taxation and Data Analytics (MTAX) programs, focusing on the use of advanced technology to solve accounting problems. His undergraduate degree is from James Madison University and his PhD is from the University of Georgia. He has won numerous teaching and mentoring awards and is extensively published on advanced technology topics.

Prior to becoming an academic, Greg was a Partner in PwC’s management consulting practice and was also a Director in Gartner’s state and local government consulting practice. He regularly consults with global organizations on accounting systems related topics.

Greg lives in Phoenix with his fiancée Dana and has two children that are ASU students and another that lives in Austin, Texas. In their spare time, Greg and Dana climb mountains (recently Mt. Kilimanjaro) and run marathons.
 
   
 Christina C. Roderick, CPA
 Term expires July 1, 2028
Christina is a Tax Principal at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), with more than 26 years of experience. Working hand-in-hand with mid-market businesses. Christina helps her clients maximize profits through smart tax structuring, merger and acquisition consulting, as well as plan for growth via credits and incentives and accounting methods.

Christina enjoys serving as a sounding board and solving tough problems for her clients. When giving carefully considered tax advice, she relies on her extensive experience and likes to approach issues from a variety of angles, enabling her clients to make decisions quickly, and with confidence.

She also enjoys sharing her expertise with local business associations and banks by speaking on such topics as business structuring, taxation, succession planning, and business incentives and credits.

Membership in Professional Organizations

Christina is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA). She has recently been appointed to the Arizona State Board of Accountancy after serving 13 years on its Tax Practice Committee, where she acted as both Vice-Chair and Chair. She has also volunteered with the ASCPA's Tax Legislation Review Committee.

As a professional committed to supporting her community, Christina is also a member of Arizona Business Leaders and serves on the Public Affairs Committee of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

Education and Professional Certifications

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Golden Gate University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in Arizona and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Awards and Recognition

In 2015, Christina was recognized by AZ Business Magazine as one of the Most Influential Woman in Arizona Business.
