The Arizona State Board of Accountancy is established by A.R.S. § 32-702 and consists of seven board members who are residents of Arizona and who are appointed by the Governor for five-year terms. Five members are Certified Public Accountants and two are public members.
   
 Lisa B. Lumbard, CPA
 President

Lisa B. Lumbard, CPA, CGFM has been in public accounting for over 35 years specializing in providing audit services to not-for-profit and governmental entities with 25 of those years as the founder and manager of Lumbard & Associates, PLLC. In working with not-for-profit managers and boards over the years she developed a passion for training not-for-profits on board governance. Prior to selling her practice, she became certified as a board governance trainer with BoardSource and continues to provide those services to not-for-profits through her consulting firm. Lisa began her long history of volunteering on not-for-profit boards and governmental advisory committees while in college at ASU. She still serves on the Arizona Society of CPA’s Annual Not-for-Profit Conference committee, MIHS Finance and Compliance advisory committee and served as vice-president on the board of a large local church where she previously served for 3 years as treasurer and 3 years as president and over 5 years on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy Accounting and Auditing Advisory Committee. In June of 2019 she received the Executive Leadership Certification from the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. Effective July 2019, she was appointed by the Governor to the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and looks forward to continuing her service in that new capacity. Lisa frequently speaks at conferences as well as providing customized trainings to not-for-profit organizations. She has presented seminars and trainings on single audits, internal controls, audit preparedness, not-for-profit accounting, and not-for-profit board governance for various professional associations throughout Arizona. In her spare time she enjoys working in her yard, self-improvement reading, singing in the choir and remodeling investment properties.
 
   
 Robert Edward Dubberly, CPA

Rob is an audit partner in KPMG’s Arizona Practice. He has more than 27 years of experience working within six different offices throughout the United States including a three-year technical rotation in the Firm’s National Office. In addition to serving as a lead audit partner, Rob is also a designated SEC Reviewing Partner and in that capacity, he serves as an engagement quality control review partner for a number of public companies. Rob has worked with companies in a variety of industries, including electronics, industrial manufacturing, consumer products and transportation. Outside of the office, Rob is board member with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley, the Arizona Society of CPAs and he serves as a member of Council for the AICPA. Rob has been married to his beautiful wife Grace for 26 years and they have three boys – Robert, Hugh and Grant.
 
   
 Stephen J. Rodis, CPA

Steve is a tax partner with Wallace Plese + Dreher and has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining his current firm, he worked at regional and national CPA firms. He provides tax planning and consulting to individuals and corporations in a variety of industries. Specializing in international tax, he helps U.S. businesses with structuring and global expansions. Recognizing each client’s goals and objectives are unique, he incorporates industry knowledge and tax reduction strategies into business planning.

Dedicated to educating his peers and supporting the next generation of accounting professionals, he is a frequent speaker at ASCPA’s Phoenix Tax Workshop and serves as Co-Chair and on the Advisory Committee. Prior to being appointed to the Board of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy, he served on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy’s Tax Advisory Committee.

Focused on developing and bringing business to Arizona, he serves on the Board, Phoenix Committee for Foreign Relations (PCFR), Arizona Advisory Committee, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), and Arizona District Export Council, U.S. Department of Commerce.

He holds an Arizona CPA license and earned his Bachelor of Science, Accountancy, from Arizona State University.

Beyond providing tax and consulting services, he and his wife Anne enjoy traveling, experimenting with new grilling recipes, and spending time with their three children, six grandchildren, and two Labradors. In his spare time Steve builds furniture.
 
   
 Bruce D. Beach, CPA

Bruce D. Beach is Chairman of the Board and a Senior Advisor for BeachFleischman PC. He is in charge of coordinating the firm’s diverse array of consulting services and has provided accounting and assurance, consulting and business advisory services to numerous companies during his 44-year career in public accounting. His areas of specialty include mergers and acquisitions, business and organizational consulting, strategic business planning, and business succession planning. He has industry experience in health care, construction, high tech, manufacturing, real estate, retailing, transportation, wholesaling, and insurance and service industries. He has both a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Arizona and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is active and held leadership roles in a variety of business and community associations including the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Western Alliance Bancorporation, Tucson Festival of Books, Carondelet Health Network Board of Directors, United Way Board of Directors, Child and Family Resources, and St. Mary’s Centurions Board of Directors. He has also been recognized with the following awards:

 Michael A. Levin, Public Member

Mike Levin is an Executive Vice President with the Levin Family Limited Partnership. Along with his father Alan and brother Matt, they own and operate the Port of Tucson, Southern Arizona’s inland port, providing both domestic and international rail operations. Additionally, they own and operate various other companies such as Century Park Properties, Tucson Frozen Storage, Tucson Port Authority, and Cushing Business Center. Mike’s primary role is President of Industrial Real Estate & Business Development for the Port and other Levin entities. This role oversees the management of over 2 million square feet of warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and rail served properties. In addition to lease and tenant management, he works closely with local economic development groups to help in highlighting Tucson as a hub for global trade and logistics with both Mexico and Asia. The Port of Tucson, with its ability to receive and ship intermodal containers internationally to multiple global locations, provides a key link for Arizona and Mexico to the world economy.
